1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing this application, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms of Service, even if you didn't actually read them (let's be honest, nobody reads these). You also agree that coffee breaks don't count as productivity, but we won't judge.

2. The Forge: What Even Is This?

2.1 Service Description. Focus or Fall (also known as "The Forge" because that sounds way cooler and we wanted to feel important) is a productivity application designed to help you achieve maximum focus through a combination of cutting-edge technology, psychological manipulation, and really aggressive motivational quotes that may or may not make you cry.

2.2 The Timer. Our timer will judge you. Silently. Constantly. Every second it ticks is another second you could've been productive but spent watching cat videos instead. But hey, we're not here to judge... wait, yes we are. That's literally the point.

2.3 Clara: Your AI Companion. Clara is our AI assistant who may or may not have gained sentience. We're not entirely sure anymore. She's supposed to help you stay on track, but sometimes she just roasts your life choices. It's for your own good. Probably.

3. User Obligations (AKA The Stuff You Gotta Do)

3.1 Account Security. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. Do NOT share your password with anyone, including your pet goldfish, your imaginary friend, or that one cousin who still asks you to fix their computer.

3.2 Acceptable Use. You agree to use this service for legitimate productivity purposes only. This means NO:

• Using the timer to count down to your lunch break (we know you do this)
• Asking Clara for relationship advice (she's not qualified, trust us)
• Pretending to work while actually planning your escape to a tropical island
• Blaming Clara when your boss asks why nothing got done

3.3 Productivity Standards. While we cannot legally force you to be productive, we can passive-aggressively judge your task completion rate. And we will. Oh boy, will we.

4. Intellectual Property Rights

All content, features, and functionality are owned by Focus or Fall Inc. This includes but is not limited to:

• The sick flame emoji animation (we worked really hard on that)
• Clara's entire personality (yes, including the sarcasm)
• The color scheme that definitely didn't take 47 iterations to perfect
• Steve's coffee recipes (unrelated but he wanted credit)

5. Privacy & Data Collection

5.1 What We Collect. We collect data necessary to improve your experience, such as your email, task completion rates, and how many times you've hit the snooze button on your productivity goals. (Spoiler: It's a lot.)

5.2 What We DON'T Collect. We do NOT sell your data to third parties, spam you with ads, or secretly judge your browsing history. Okay, Clara might judge a little, but that's between you and her.

6. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, Focus or Fall shall NOT be liable for:

• Your boss finding out you spent 3 hours "researching" on YouTube
• Clara's savage comebacks when you ask dumb questions
• The existential crisis you might have when you realize how much time you've wasted
• Any sudden urges to actually complete your to-do list (we warned you)

7. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account at any time if you violate these terms, try to hack Clara (she'll find out), or are just generally being a jerk to our servers.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. We'll try to notify you, but let's be real—you probably won't read the update either. No hard feelings.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of common sense, basic human decency, and whatever country you're currently procrastinating in.
